Last Saturday evening I captured a silver 720 S parked in the valet of the Buckhead Atlanta mall. As I was taking my shots I looked up and observed a yellow 570 S driving towards my location as it passed me I realized it was not parking in the valet and most importantly I realized it was the new spyder version. I attempted to go after her but she sped off down the road. I called my fiance who dropped me off to keep an eye out for the car. Before I even hung up the car in question was driving towards my location. The absolutely gorgeous Mclaren stopped long enough for the occupants to talk with a female from a local shop. just then my soon to be better half picked me up and we were able to make a safe u turn to tuck ion behind the Georgia temp tagged spyder ( 21830629 ) Our remaining pics on the road were taken on Peachtree Street heading North. Mclaren did a stunning job with car and it makes me even more excited about the soon to be topless 720.

Congratulations buddy, a really sweet spot! I loved reading the story you had with this British beauty, after all, this is what makes spotting such an excitement. You never know if you are able to catch the beast you see flying by. It happened to me that I was 100% sure I will be able to spot a car, and it didn't happen, while at the same time there wer occasions I thought 'this one is gone', and the next few hours (or sometimes months later) I found it where I would have never thought. So this is the real deal with spotting I think besides the love of cars. The combo is especially nice, it is always special to see a couple of new McLarens together. Oh, and almost forgot, the girl is pretty hot too! No wonder she made the guys in the McLaren stop lol. I would have done the same. Take care buddy and talk to you soon!
PS Your fiance is really kind to help you out with spotting. I don't know many girls who tolerate this hobby.

Awesome spot and interesting story, West! I didn't expect to see these cars so soon. McLaren did a stellar job with them. The owner seems to be quite a chill dude. Love your photos, especially the 7th one.

I related to Alen (lyon1845 ) that my fiance has turned into a car spotting junkie lol. She is all about the hunt and is patient enough to put in the time either behind the wheel or as a passenger. She even takes pretty good pics now as well. When ever we play argue she threatens to become an official member here on AG. I think we really need to do a prenup just in case she decides to steal all of my past, current, and future spots LMFAO.
