Alweer een persoonlijk primeurtje voor mij! Mijn eerste Maserati GranSport!! Wat een gave garagespot in Oisterwijk gisteren! Ook weer een tijdje geleden dat ik de parkeergarage van Oisterwijk ging checken. Wat een blubberdikke spec heeft deze, blauw met gele remklauwen!! Heel tof exemplaar om hem zo te spotten en als primeur voor mij. Aan de zijkanten van de Maserati stond er 'Design Giugiaro'. Iemand die weet wat dit betekent? ~ Another personal first for me! My first Maserati GranSport!! What a cool garage spot in Oisterwijk yesterday! It's been a while since I checked the Oisterwijk parking garage. What a fantastic spec this one has, blue with yellow brake calipers!! Very cool to spot it like this and as a first for me. On the sides of the Maserati it said 'Design Giugiaro'. Anyone know what this means?

Prachtige wagen! Giugiaro is een hele beroemde auto-ontwerper die bijvoorbeeld de Delorean DMC-12, de BMW M1 en de Maserati Bora heeft ontworpen. Wat vreemd is is dat hij deze Maserati helemaal niet ontworpen heeft, de laatste Maserati die hij ontworpen heeft is de Maserati Spyder uit 2002. De GranSport komt uit 2004, dus ik snap niet waarom deze auto die badge heeft.

Zo vreemd is dat niet. Deze Gran Sport is in wezen dezelfde auto als de Maserati 3200 GT uit 1998, die met de boomerang achterlichten, en ontworpen door Giorgetto Giugiaro. Mooie spot.
