Tot mijn stomme verbazing kwam ik deze Camaro tegen op de parkeerplaats van mijn hotel in Addis. Dit is de eerste spot ooit in Ethiopië en ik vermoed voorlopig de laatste. Er rijden namelijk bijna alleen in de hoofdstad Addis partikuliere auto's, daarbuiten is het door de torenhoge prijzen voor auto's en het zeer lage inkomen voor de Ethiopiërs onmogelijk om er zelf een aan te schaffen. Laat staan een Chevrolet Camaro.

Omdat Ethiopië nog niet in de vaste landenlijst staat, heb ik er maar Nigeria van gemaakt. Ik heb een en ander al gemeld.

@ JNovy : I think Japan is a lot more difficult. Most signs etcetera are in Ethiopian and English, and the younger Ethiopians (of which there are many many millions) speak English very well. And they are very willing to help you.
